SUNDAY MORNINGS
Sunday School
Our normal Sunday morning services begin at 9:30 with Sunday school. As adults, Sunday school gives us the opportunity to study the Bible more thoroughly than normal. We hear from a teacher who has spent time studying a given topic, and we have the opportunity to ask questions, think out loud, and ponder things we discuss. For our children, Sunday school provides the opportunity for an age-specific lesson about the foundations of biblical faith. We offer Sunday school classes for kids aged newborn through high school as well as adult classes.
Fellowship Coffee
At about 10:25 our Sunday school classes adjourn and we meet in the fellowship hall to greet folks and share coffee and rolls provided by the ladies of the church. This is a good time to stay connected with one another and greet visitors.
Morning Worship
At 10:45 our worship service begins. Our service includes a time of singing to God. We like to sing contemporary praise music without forgetting the foundational hymns of the faith. We share prayer requests and pray for one another, and hear a sermon Pastor Matt has prepared after studying a passage from the Bible. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month. Nursery care is provided for preschool aged children. We adjourn around noon.
Fellowship Lunch
The first Sunday of every month, following morning worship, we share a carry-in or “potluck” meal. This is one of our favorite days of the month!
